agency4D recently hosted the first edition of its new social event series, bringing together professionals from across the property, workplace and creative sectors for an evening designed to feel very different from traditional networking.
Held at the agency’s Leeds studio, the event welcomed guests from across the industry for drinks, music and conversation in a relaxed environment focused on building genuine relationships rather than formal business introductions.
Positioned as “networking for people who don’t like networking”, the social was created in response to growing demand for more authentic and informal industry events — removing the pressure often associated with traditional corporate networking.
The concept forms part of agency4D’s wider belief that meaningful connection remains one of the most valuable aspects of both business and physical space.
Managing Director Lee Ford said:
“So many networking events feel transactional. We wanted to create something more relaxed, where people could simply spend time together without pitches, name badges or expectations. The response to the first event was fantastic.”
The evening featured a live DJ, drinks and informal conversation throughout the studio, with guests from across property, interiors, design and construction attending the launch event.
The social also aligns closely with agency4D’s recently launched ‘The Last Connection’ movement, which explores the importance of human connection in an increasingly digital and automated world.
Following strong feedback from attendees, agency4D plans to continue the social series throughout the year as it further strengthens relationships across the industry and creative community.
