agency4D founder and managing director Lee Ford has rejoined the board of trustees at Harrogate Skills 4 Living, reaffirming his commitment to supporting adults with learning disabilities across North Yorkshire.

Lee previously served as a trustee of the charity and returns to the board at an important time for the organisation as it continues to expand its services and support for people with learning disabilities to live more independent, fulfilled and connected lives.

Established in 1967, Harrogate Skills 4 Living has spent almost six decades helping individuals develop life skills, confidence and independence through a range of educational, social and employment-focused programmes. The charity supports adults across the Harrogate district and wider North Yorkshire region, helping people achieve their potential and participate more fully in their communities.

Lee’s return brings both business leadership experience and a long-standing passion for supporting organisations that create meaningful social impact.

Speaking about his appointment, Lee said:

“Harrogate Skills 4 Living is a charity that genuinely changes lives. The work the team delivers every day has a lasting impact on the individuals and families it supports, and I’m honoured to be rejoining the board at such an exciting stage of the organisation’s development.

“As someone who believes strongly in the importance of connection, opportunity and community, I look forward to supporting the charity’s continued growth and helping raise awareness of the incredible work being carried out across the region.”

As founder of agency4D, the Leeds-based brand experience agency, Lee has spent more than a decade developing brands and helping organisations create stronger connections with the people they serve. He will bring expertise in strategy, governance, marketing and organisational growth to the board.

The appointment comes as HS4L continues to develop new opportunities for the people it supports, strengthening its role as one of the region’s most established and respected learning disability charities.

Chair of Trustees Barbara Clogg said:

“We are delighted to welcome Lee back to the board. He brings valuable experience, fresh perspective and a genuine passion for the charity’s mission. We look forward to working together as we continue to develop our services and create opportunities for the people we support.”

Lee joins fellow trustees in helping guide the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring it continues to deliver meaningful outcomes for adults with learning disabilities while remaining sustainable and impactful for years to come.
